Is anyone feeling low?

I just wanted to start this topic as I find huge comfort in talking to others when I am feeling low. Is anyone else finding it hard to pick themselves up this morning?

Yes. Some days I feel ok and others I feel completely hopeless.

What do you do on the days that you feel the lowest?

I just try and exercise mostly. Keep active and try and take my mind off things.

Just spent the last 2 days at home crying and just unable to push through to do the things that I know help me. It’s so frustrating to feel like that.
Feeling a bit better today and I’m going to go do a nice walk in the woods with a good playlist

Hear you on this Lou, me too. There are days when I can take on the world and others days I simply need to hibernate and hide from everyone :face_with_peeking_eye:

Sara, this is such a great question. For me, it really varies. I tend to start with a check in with myself. I bring my hands to my body, most often to my Solar plexus, which is my womb space area really.
I take a deep belly breath in, allowing the breath to nurture and settle the discomfort powering through my body and I lay there. Still. Quiet and Listen.

“What do you need darling? What do you need from me today?” and I wait. I hold my body, listen in to the quiet and welcome each breath with love :orange_heart:

It may simply be a cup of tea, could be a walk, a cuddle from my hot water bottle or a roll over to more sleep. My body knows what she needs, and in those super low mood days, I need to give her the quiet to express herself and I need to listen.

I know this feeling will pass, I have a strong belief in that, so sitting with it, sometimes is all there is to do :woman_cartwheeling:t3:
This too shall pass darling, this too shall pass :pray:t3:

Oh darling Laura. I want to give you the biggest cuddle. I am glad you are feeling a bit better today though. Have you been going through IVF? (you don’t have to answer openly - you can send a private message if you prefer). I just want to send you all the love in the world and yes…get that great playlist out! xxx

Son I love you for this. You know I also wanted to share your article, because I thought it might help @LauraG

You have always told me that having an epic cry helps.

And this article by you Son is useful too!!!

I see you darling :pray:t3:

If you feel up to it, hug a tree and allow a couple of deep belly breaths in and out here, letting Mother Earth hold you :deciduous_tree: This works wonders for me……

although a warning!!! For me I have been known to start crying as my breath subsides and the stress hormones settle with the earthing qualities of the Earth :pray:t3:

Or simply sitting at the roots of a tree :sunny:

Thank you for sharing here Laura, this reminds me I need to head out into nature tomorrow too, may even get my feet muddy and walk on the wet grass :woman_cartwheeling:t3:. Thank you :snail:

I’ve been feeling rather heavy & achy this week & as I checked my diary I’m due on tomorrow, it’s still a little tug on my heart, yet I’m thankful my beautiful body is still in flow :orange_heart:
