Emotional Wellbeing
My emotional well-being fluctuates monthly, weekly, daily and very often hourly
So many factors affect this for me, my feminine cycle, my diet, my surrounding environment, my family, friends and work diary.
Lack of sleep and not honouring time for the things I know I need also deeply affect my emotional well-being.
Every morning I try to wake up and start with a “Thank you” … thank you for my bed, for waking up, for having the chance to have another day & all the delights that may show up for me to smile at.
This practice immediately allows my heart to smile and with gratitude…. It’s simply a nurturing tool that will always make you raise your vibration and skip into the day……
Or if you need to turn over and sleep some more, absolutely do that too! Ana that is always okay
Self care is so important, but I am guilty of not practising what I preach. Usually, when I feel tired, this is when I slip and I don’t look after myself. I will skip meals or forget about drinking water. This then makes me feel so much worse.
I am a creative person, and I enjoy making crafts. I don’t always have time to sit and do something creative, but I will plan to do something at least once a week. I will do some crochet, cross stitch, or diamond painting.
Going to the gym is also really important to me. I enjoy being around other people and exercising in a group setting. I do this 3 to 4 times a week.
On the days I do feel tired, I will listen to my body. If it needs to rest then I will rest. When I am lazy-tired then I know if I get to the gym I will feel better when I am there. However, if I feel exhausted I will skip a day and rest.
Love the idea of crochet how relaxing I had a small dance yesterday a little ballet’eque and then it went tribal & I was roaring like a hissing bear! Haha
